Located between Holkham Beach and Blakeney Point, lies the harbour town of Wells-next-the-Sea. Wells is a traditional fishing port with a number of quaint shops, country pubs, eateries and art galleries. Many visitors choose the quay wall to sit and enjoy their fish and chips while looking out to sea. A miniature steam railway runs from the town to the stunning sandy beach. Wells beach is known for its novelty colourful beach huts and a large pinewood backdrop. Wells holds various events throughout the year including carnival week and Christmas tide weekend.
